Crú Capaill (pronounced "crew cop-ull") means horseshoe in Irish and is a symbol of good luck. Irish tradition holds that the horseshoe must always be hung like the letter "U" so that the luck doesn't "drip out." The name is a tribute to Katie's grandparents who encouraged her to follow her dreams of opening a school.
The philosophy at Crú Capaill is to celebrate Irish heritage and culture through the love of dance. Our goal is to teach self-discipline and self-confidence in a positive environment, and above all, we want Irish Dancing to be fun!
